Brazilian Beef Skewers

Beef skewers in Brazil are a way of life. How to season the beef is the key, allowing the beef flavour to shine through and using salt to amplify the natural flavours of the beef. Adding a fresh ingredient chimichurri is just the perfect condiment to help boost the flavours.

Cooked using Rub & Grub:

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) flank steak (or skirt steak)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt flakes
Chimichurri Ingredients
  • ½ a cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt flakes
  • ½ teaspoon of finely cracked black pepper
  • ½ a cup of parsley (roughly chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes
