Ingredients

  • 1.4kg (3lbs) beef short ribs, sliced thinly (Korean-style)
  • Spray oil
Korean Tira de Asado Marinade
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 Asian pear (or regular pear), roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup mirin
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 small onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 small piece of ginger, roughly chopped
  • 8–10 spring onions (white parts only, greens reserved)
  • 6 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp fine black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup water
